Psysop Bio :
Psysop is a solo music maker that creates and performs electronic music in real-time, purely by ear and feel.

His sounds spaces blend indie electronic vibe with catchy melodic and rhythmic colors of dance, rock, chill and/or other worldly styles in varying textures and moods. Each songs name is a single word that encapsulates the expression. The song arrangements range from traditional to minimal in structure and flow. The song lyrics span rich to minimal in expression, with messaging that often centers on the thought-provoking aspects of living in the modern world. Each song features live performances and solos with pure improvisation, creating instrumental conversations.
Heavily influenced by the psychedelic rock pioneers of 1960s and 1970s, his music is a modern take of the experimental sounds, unique arrangements, live performances and improvisations, abstract and surreal lyrics, and blends of musical styles distinctive of the era.
Based in Rochester NY, Psysop is a product of his family’s rich artistic inspirations, natural musical dispositions, diverse life and cultural experiences, and an background in technology development. Psysop has no formal music training. Yet from an early age, he was able to pickup instruments, play them, and construct melodic and rhythmic patterns that seemed to resonate with humans. It wasn’t until the extraordinary advances in music making technologies was it even possible for a solo artist to create and perform electronic music in any genre, style, and mood until now.
What sets Psysop apart is an audio experience that is more diverse, offering the consumer sounds spaces that transcend genres, styles, and moods. A visual experience that is more immersive, with imagery and live performance video that let the consumer see the music they hear being made in real-time. A textual experience, that when fused with audio and visual expressions, provides the consumer a richer context of the messaging of the song for their own interpretation. And it is a music experience that Psysop hopes will not only capture the imagination of the music consumer over time but showcase how technology can amplify human expression, not replace it.
