Psysop Design :
Psysop believes that the true measurement of a song is how deeply and broadly it moves us. The musical genre or style is more a form of expression that can influence movement, but it is not the movement itself. This is why great songs continue to sound great no matter the style, technology, or musical era. Psysop believes that the best music is music that is uniquely human in its making. And the key to this uniqueness, is harnessing our most unique human capability, and that is the spontaneous creation of new musical ideas and expressions. Psysop calls this Live by Design and he is experimenting with three design concepts to realize its potential.

A design concept where a unique psychological feeling is discovered through experimentation, and within that feeling, the audio, visual and textual expressions of the song are iteratively developed from the inside out, generating unique styles and moods that are not preconceived, but evolve organically.

Arrangement
A design concept where live parts and solos are inserted into the arrangement of a song to capture pure instrumental improvisation, generating moments of spontaneous expression and richer, deeper musical conversations, something that only the human mind can imagine.

Performance
A design concept where the live parts and solos of a song are performed in real-time, accompanied by the pre-recorded parts, generating unique song variations per performance, and creating an audio and visual experience for the consumer where what you see is what you hear.
In a musical era, where over 100K new songs are released on streaming platforms every day, Psysop believes that it is the songs that are uniquely human in their making that will ultimately move us more deeply and broadly. This is the music experience that Psysop aspires to develop and evolve over time.
